Timeline of Events, Initiatives & Publications
As we celebrate 2017 #WorldWaterDay, we are planning to create a timeline of the evolution of the Water Diplomacy Program. Water Diplomacy – rooted in ideas of complexity science and negotiation theory – provides a framework to govern and manage water issues as a network of interactions and relationships among natural, societal and political variables, processes, actors, and institutions. It started as a Tufts University Seminar in 2006 with a goal to synthesize science, policy, and politics of water through negotiations. We are looking for your input as we gather water diplomacy related initiatives, events, and publications to build this timeline and repository of resources.
